Offering peace of mind if you need any assistance and far enough out of the way if you don't. Guest unit is fully private . Seperate entrance at North end of house via external stairway. Balcony and both bedrooms open onto front Balcony. There is a hallway along the back of the bedrooms with access to kitchen/lounge area and share laundry. Arrangements regarding key to Guest Unit and driving directions will need to be made prior to arrival. WIFI available, . WIFI can sometimes be slow due to location. Most mobile phones will get coverage - telstra phone access is generally good. Stays of 1 month or longer available by arrangement at discounted rates. About the neighbourhood
Quiet rural area on 20 acres, lake frontage. Peaceful tranquilly will be experienced from the moment you arrive. The sounds of birds can be heard at sunrise and sunset and you will see many types, ie cockatoos, finches, lorikeets,kookaburra's will fly around making their own unique and distinctive sounds. On the lake and often in the morning ducks will be picking around the yard and you will see magnificent pelicans on the lake. The lake is fresh water and is safe to swim in . An easy to use canoe is available to row into the lake and have some exercise or just find a quiet location and wait and watch for wildlife sounds and small fish jump and turtles scuttle into the water. The fresh air will energise you and the beautiful year round climate is generally mild with warm sunny days and nights. In winter June - Aug, you may experience some colder weather, particulary at night, butmost days are fine.

How to get there
Car required for all day trips and to get to this rural property. There are two quite easy routes to get to the property.Both will require driving up a range to get to the Cairns Highlands area from Cairns city. It will take approx 1,5 hr drive. All day trips are within an easy radius from only 15-30 mins up to a couple of hours drive. There are coffee plantations, cheese factory, wineries to stop off along the way to enjoy a break and some delicious fresh meals and drinks made from local produce.
