what outstanding veiws,location and ownership,however you can learn from my small mistakes make shore you speek to dean[owner] before arrival,i didnt id had mobile phone issue the week before and had to buy new one, therefore missing owners last correspondence telling me code number for entry key ,couple of phone calls[ there is a phone box down the road if you have no coverage] and the owner was driving up the drive in no time,shake of hands ,quick explanation and even a customary beer i believe just to clear the air ,would recommend to any one who enjoys the environment and getting away from suburbia,remember this is not a resort and if you are scarred of the occasional bug,lizard or any other of the wildlife that lives in the daintree you are in the wrong place,with that said i cant think of any thing that i could folt and must make special mention on how clean and tidy the whole property was on arrival,well done Dean on building a oasis in paradise, and thanks again regards Mark an Kazz

Our time at this most beautiful stay exceeded all expectations. The residence was exceptionally clean, Dean was an absolute gracious and considerate host.We loved every minute, a great time to connect with family in the most pristine and gorgeous part of the world. To sit with a birds eye view and watch the rainforest is a memory to be fondly remembered.We will be back again.Love love love

Amazing stay in Cow Bay
This property ticks all the boxes- clean, lots of space, a pool, friendly property manager, right in the middle of a tropical paradise and with fabulous ice cream down the road! What more could you wish for?

Such a gorgeous peaceful place to absorb the rainforest
We stayed in the studio and couldn't fault it. The teenagers were less happy in the shack. They wanted to come and stay with us but we said no. It was gorgeous and I wouldn't have changed it. The shack is very rustic so more bugs get in. Mosquito nets are provided and there are games to keep kids amused. The outdoor kitchen is very well equipped and it was lovely sitting back in the evening eating around the table.
I am not sure how it was managed but both the studio and shack were spotlessly cleaned. There was no hidden place untouched. Thank you

Amazing House, Terrific Views, Brilliant Host
Stayed at La Vista for two nights, was an amazing place to stay, great to see places still of the grid. Dean was a great host making sure we had a great stay. Highly recommend others stay here.

Wonderful memorable location.
Once you have familiarised yourself with the set up and how everything works (off grid quite unique set up) this place is such a great place to hang out after a day visiting the Daintree rainforest and Cape Tribulation. Waking up to the view and the dawn bird calls is truly memorable.

Beautiful view and amazing property!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Vista. The view was spectacular and breathtaking in a perfect location! The house was lovely and clean on arrival and Dean was great to deal with. Thank you again, Melia and Wayne.

Great eco accommodation with fantastic views!
Had a great time. Kids enjoyed the pool, hammock, bathtub and games room. Easy to find and great location to explore Daintree. Well equiped kitchen. Eco accommodation with electricity and water off grid but still convenient.

Rainforest Paradise
We loved staying La Vista. The views were beautiful. It had beautiful breezes and the plunge pool was great at the end of the day. The property is very well appointed, luxurious but rustic. Very relaxing
