French doors invite in plenty of natural light, and can be opened up to allow access to a delightful rear garden. Upstairs, the stunning master bedroom boasts a super-king size bed with views of the garden, Smart television, and ceiling fan. A vivid colour pallet complimented with plush furnishings invite a restful night's sleep. This bedroom is served by a beautifully appointed en-suite bathroom featuring a large walk-in shower and a roll-top bath. Outside, a fabulous sheltered garden hosts a private sun terrace, bistro table and chairs plus accompanying charcoal barbecue, set to a backdrop of raised planted border, small lawn and a mature cherry tree. Being fully-enclosed, this is a great place for the dog to play safely. Off-road parking for one car is available to the side of the property. Directly opposite the cottage, the Thornham Deli offers delicious breakfasts and light bites, plus takeaway coffees and deli counter treats. Additional cars can be parked in the deli car park. Norfolk Hideaways market all four cottages on this terrace. These cottages are available to rent separately or together, making them a great option for larger groups: No. 33 Cottage 2, No. 33 Cottage 3 or No. 33 Cottage 4. Additional Information: One well behaved dog welcome (small additional charge). All bedding provided is synthetic.

perfect holiday next to a building site!
Fantastic bathroom and very comfortable bed but this is where it ends....arrived to cold and dark cottage (we had been forgotten but when we asked about WI-fi the following day at the Deli opposite (who own the cottage) the staff realised and apologised and sorted us out with a generous hamper that had not been left for us the previous day, all good. We were rather spooked by the next door cottage which was rather run-down and had some bad reviews from previous occupants of the holiday cottage but the guest book stated that the resident of the adjoining cottage was moving out and it then emerged that the 33 brand had recently purchased the cottage. Al the windows had been left wide open which was not a problem until the wind got up and all the internal doors started banging during the early hours of Wednesday morning. The staff at the Deli said they would arrange for the caretaker to close the windows so that we would not be disturbed again, that was great. However on Thursday morning we were woken to the arrival of builders who began dismantling the internal fittings of the adjoining cottage dressed in white dust suits so an indication that dirty work was about to commence, but hey at least they did not arrive at 8am they waited till around 9.30....Friday morning we were awoken at 9.15 to hammering and banging, basically the demolition of internal walls....just what you want on holiday, we then ate breakfast to banging and banging! We phoned Norfolk Hideaways at 9.30 to explain our annoyance and 8 hours later we have not heard from the owner or Norfolk Hideaways. If we had been told about the building works we would have chosen to go to another cottage but we were not given this option, surely bookings for the adjacent cottages should not have been taken whilst this work was scheduled? We have received no apology or any correspondence from anyone. We will not be recommending No33 or booking again, we are also unlikely to use Norfolk Hideaways services again, very disappointed.

Shame about the building work next door & the road noise
We arrived on a Friday at 4pm. Initial impressions of the interior were good, curtains drawn & lights left on for us. We were so looking forward to our quiet weekend away. What is not advertised, and the pictures are very cleverly taken to suggest otherwise is that the cottage is right next to the main road through Thornham. The traffic noise is terrible as the trucks are thundering past a few metres from your outside wall, needless to say we slept very badly over the three nights we were there. We couldn’t open the bedroom window as the road noise would not allow you to sleep. There is still work going on in the cottage next door. The Friday we arrived we had to endure listening to the builder constantly swearing in the back garden. Saturdaymorning arrived and at 9am a delivery of furniture arrived for next door. They proceeded to march up & down outside our front window over the noisy gravel and then decided to unpack said piece of furniture literally right in front of our window. We phoned Norfolk Hideaways to complain and we returned that day to some Prosecco & chocolates whisk was a nice gesture BUT it should have been stated when booking that renovation work was going on next door as if we knew we wouldn’t have booked. We emailed Norfolk Hideaways on our return complaining about the misrepresentation of the cottages location. The pictures make it look like it’s set back from the road and the fact that renovation work was happening next door. I have given them a few weeks to reply and we haven’t heard back from them. I would not recommend this cottage if you are looking for a quiet break away, nor would I recommend Norfolk Hideaways.

bank holiday weekend
loved this cottage so much I have booked to return again in the new year. I have read the other reviews but all the renovation work is now complete and there is no building noise. The cottage is beautifully presented and equipped and being opposite to the deli we feasted on freshly baked food every day.The welcome hamper was generous and the bed super comfy. Yes it is next to the main road but that didn't put us off as we weren't sitting in the garden ion the day time but making the most of the beautiful countryside on our doorstep

Fantastic (review of cottage 2)
This is a review for cottage number 2- there currently isn’t a page for it on trip advisor (it is fairly new). The cottage is situated just off the main road through Thornham- opposite Thornham Deli. It was easy to find and is well positioned. The parking spaces are a little bit small, and awkwardly positioned. If you want to stay somewhere that is beautifully decorated- and has lovely interior design- cottage number 2 is definitely for you. It is stunning throughout- I have no bad things to say about the decor. The property leads straight into the kitchen. The kitchen was well equipped with almost everything you could want. It would be helpful to have a roll of kitchen roll, and a larger bin (like the one in number 1). The living area was faultless. There’s a large enough TV with free Netflix, board games and plenty of comfy space to fit. The bedroom is perfectly sized. The bed is super king. We found the mattress too firm for us. All the linen was clean and good quality. The furnishings in the room were beautiful- however not all practical. The drawers were small, not much hanging space or places generally to store things. The drawer under the wardrobe would not stay shut- my poor dog hit her head on it. There is a thermostat in the bedroom with a green light on it, this creates unwanted light at bed time. The bathroom is spacious and beautiful. My only suggestion would be to have somewhere to store my own toiletries. The garden was a good size for my two small dogs. There was real grass and it was landscaped in a modern and tasteful way. One thing we believe really does need addressing is the gate at the back of the garden. It needs to be more secure- I was constantly worrying my dogs would escape (maybe a bolt lock on the inside). Overall we loved our stay at cottage number 2, and will return in the future. We loved visiting Thornham deli for food and a mooch around the homeware. Thornham beach is quite a long walk away, we went in the car. All beaches are only a short drive away!

Little gem
Recently had 3 nights in cottage 1. What a little gem. Beautifully decorated. Very clean. Perfect location for visiting the surrounding area. Next to main road but was not a problem and did not impact sleep. Would highly recommend.
