A simply beautiful 18th century detached stone cottage, lovingly restored in a contemporary style.
Peak Cottage entrance is from the top cottage.
On sunny days you can breakfast outside with views over Winster and the distant rolling hills

Calming hues, antique oak and richly coloured fabrics give the cottage a cosy, country retreat feel
A compact but well equipped, stylish kitchen with a solid oak floor.
The twin bedroom has two large single beds with comfortable, semi firm mattresses,
En-suite: Has a large shower cubicle with fixed and movable, rain shower heads, hand basin and a WC.
The master bedroom has a semi firm double bed, for a great nights sleep.
There's also a comfortable armchair by the side of an original stone fireplace.
Family bathroom: Has a shaped bath with a rain shower head, and waterfall taps.

Professionally renovated to exceptional standards, Peak Cottage in the picturesque village of Winster combines antiquity with 21st century living. Set on four different levels, originally 2 miners cottages, they were joined together in the 19th century and provide ideal accommodation for two couples or a family group.
Calming hues, antique oak and richly coloured fabrics give the cottage a cosy, country retreat feel. The woodburning stoves are perfect for cold winter evenings, although central heating in every room ensures luxurious warmth and comfort all year round.

This cottage is wonderful and very welcoming. I stayed here with my two kids and had a great time. Winster is a great base to explore the surrounding countryside and nearby attractions.

We spent our Easter holiday in the cottage. It is such a nice little gem. The owner adds so much personal touches to the place. We all had a great time and will definitely recommend to our friends. You do need a car to travel...More

Hidden up in the limestone hills and surrounded by glorious scenery, the village has more than 70 listed buildings, foremost being the Old Market Hall, dating from the 17th century, together with The Old Hall and Dower House.

The area has remained virtually unchanged for more than a century and is the epitome of English country charm.
