Location was excellent, central to all the Derbyshire countryside and attractions and shopping outlets. Property was second to none and my New Zealand visitors were over the moon with the facilities and most impressed with the owners who were always on hand for advice and information whilst respecting their privacy. I could't have booked a better venue for their stay....

About the neighbourhood
Belper is an vibrant market town with a history which goes back to the Norman conquest and includes coal-mining and nail-making. This history is now recognised by Belper's position within the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage site and demonstrated at the museum housed within Jedediah Strutt's North Mill. The town has moved on since its days at the heart of the industrial revolution and is now well-established as a local retail and services centre. Here you will find everything for your day-to-day needs including supermarkets, excellent specialist delicatessens, bu... more
