Needs some TLC. The front door is a nightmare to open. There is out of date food in the fridge, no tops on the kitchen bins, ridiculous handles on the kitchen cupboards ( I ripped 3 tops on these). The toilet is running all the...More

There is a bus stop at the end of our quiet side street, which connects you with sites up and down the Derwent valley, the Peak District and nearby towns. And of course the train station is just a few minutes walk away.

How to get there
Railway: Belper: 0.5 km
Easy to get to by car, coach or train. Belper train station is just a 5 minute walk away from Strutt Cottage.
There is a bus station less than 10mins walk away in town, with regular National Express coaches to it. Trans Peak buses from Nottingham to Manchester via Derby also stop at the station.
There are occasionally direct trains from London too, which is less than 2.5hrs away.
Nearest Airport is East Midlands and Birmingham is not too far away either.
We can sometime collect you from Belper station by prior arrangement.
