Other spots we visited were the eye-opening pottery museum in Stoke-on-Trent and the not-to-be-missed National Memorial Arboretum. The house...More

About the neighbourhood
A pretty market town, Ashbourne is the 'gateway to the Peak District'. The location of this house is ideal for both walkers and explorers and also those looking for a holiday in an old historic town. From the rear of the property you can take a footpath which leads directly out into the beautiful countryside accessing Dovedale, the Tissington Trail and many other great walks. If you fancy walking down into the historic town then it is well worth exploring all the little alley ways and paths leading into the centre. When in the centre you can find the old cobbled market square and an array of shops, restaurants and bars where the old meets the new with something for everyone. Alton Towers theme park is just a short drive away.
Getting around
Short walk to the town centre with shops and cafes. Tissington trail cycling path 5 minutes from the house. Footpath leading directly from the rear of the property towards Dovedale.
