This newly remodeled casita has 2 bedrooms, each with comfortable queen size pillow top mattresses, and a separate bunk alcove that sleeps two extra, for a total capacity of 6.

The indoor-outdoor kitchen has the usual amenities - refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, blender, and toaster. The stove/oven is located outside under the covered palapa patio for shaded tranquility that will allow guests to create their own Mexican feast if they choose to cook at home, . Listen to the birds as you enjoy your meals outdoors under the palapa. The backyard is a lush tropical garden with privacy wall surrounding. Hammocks swing under the palapa with ceiling fans to keep you cool.

About the neighbourhood
The Costa Maya-like its cousins Cancun, Ixtapa and Mazatlan--is the latest planned resort area to be co-developed by the Mexican Government and private developers. Unlike its cousins, where over development has brought huge problems, the Costa Maya is being developed as a low density/eco-tourism area.

Located at the southern most tip of the Mexican Caribbean coast, Costa Maya borders the Sian Kaan Biosphere Reserve to the north, the crown jewel of Mexican ecological treasures, with Chetumal Bay and Belize to the south. The spectacular Banco Chinchorro Reef, one of the last living great reefs left on the planet, is just 12 miles off shore and extends south, past Belize to Honduras.
