Holiday Rental House
This well kept home has great mountain views and is a short walk or drive to a private river access area in the neighborhood. Just minutes from Downtown West Jefferson where many festivals are held and many artisans keep shop. The town offers a few restaurants, bars, art galleries, an ice cream parlor, and a coffee shop. This is the only place in NC where cheese is made, and you can watch at the Ashe County Cheese factory downtown. Boone is a 25 minute drive, Appalachian Ski Resort is 45 minutes away, Beech and Sugar are about an hour drive. Entertainment is provided by ROKU internet TV including programming by Netflix and Amazon Prime. Screen porch has a 27” TV with ROKU. Living has a 32” TV with ROKU. Internet data flows via dual band WiFi at broadband speeds. You may connect your phone, tablet, laptop, etc. to the wireless network with ease. Download speeds average 15 Mbps. Guests enjoy river access via a private riverfront property that is yours exclusively during your stay. An elevated wood deck overlooks the South Fork of The New River. The River Access Lot is walking distance from The Cottage along a trail. A gravel road exists if you prefer driving, or if you are hauling boats in or out of the river. Numerous walking trails are available to hike. There are over 5 miles of old logging roads and gravel roads to explore. Sorry, no pets. Private Riverfront Lot that is in the subdivision. Walk or drive to river access area. Always available by phone. Blue Ridge Manor is a river community of vacation homes.More

Weekend getaway

Nice cabin, great surroundings, gorgeous view! Convenient to West Jefferson. Difficult to find. Driveway would be a challenge to many car types.

Beautiful

The house was so cute and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the river dock and met some wonderful neighbors. The whole family had a great time and the view was spectacular. Thank you.

Cottage on the New River

A lovely, quiet home with beautiful views and wooded surroundings. The trail to the river was a good hike but well worth the journey. Added bonus of having kitchen utensils and fuel for the grill provided. We could see deer in the yard in the...More
