An ultimate stylish holiday home, nestled on the side of a hill in the beautiful town of Bright. Perfect for family or friends getaways wanting a high-end accommodation with amazing views across the mountains and still be within walking distance to town. Designed with luxury and relaxation in mind and every details thought of, this home is very clean, fresh, spacious and private. It is truly one of the best homes to stay in Bright.
The house has been designed in two sections. The first section is an airy kitchen, dining and living room with the ceiling on the pool side reaching four metres. The second section is the sleeping zone that has a TV area off the bedrooms. This area can be closed off to create a quiet zone. These sections are buffered by a large entry. Beautiful house, well equipped, great location
Perfect house for a family holiday - spacious and light filled, beautifully decorated, very comfortable and well equipped. Lovely private garden with clean pool. Great location 10 min walk to town (recommend cutting through the campground and following the river). A great base for lots of fun activities in the area. We can’t wait to stay here again.

Perfect - a beautiful, classy, comfortable & modern retreat perfect for a relaxing Bright stay.
Our family stayed here as 'the brides base' for our daughters wedding in November. It was beautifully appointed and maintained, and we sighed with relief as soon as we opened the front door - just as lovely as in the photos. Loved the beautiful polished floor boards and bedroom and living space decor. The 4 bedrooms each slept 2 so our family (with 2 bridesmaids as well) were all able to be accommodated. The beds were all very comfortable and there was plenty of storage in each. My husband was happy that the curtains were able to really block out the light (he's a light sleeper).The master had a huge well appointed en suite and the main bathroom was the same - huge and very modern. It has a very well appointed laundry (the machine was so good we are looking at getting the same one for ourselves! ) Everything we needed was provided in the kitchen and although we didn't spend much time in the pool the bridesmaids assured me it was lovely!. Beautiful deck offered great outdoor relaxing space, and the views from inside and outdoors was great. We liked the two living areas - making it possible for the adults and the kids (or different families) to have their own seperate spaces if wanted. We felt it was positioned well - not right in the Bright CBD but a short 3 minute drive away (my husband rode in on his bike and it took him 5 minutes and a casual walk would take maybe 10 minutes ??) There was also undercover car parking for 2 cars which assisted us as we had two cars! In short a wonderful place to stay in Bright - this would always be our first choice for accomodation in Bright !! We'll certainly be staying here again!!

Perfect house for a trip away with a family or small group.
The house is excellently maintained and clean. It is spacious and was comfortable for 8 adults for a weekend. The house has everything you need. The house is close to town but still has beautiful views.
I would absolutely recommend this accomodation to any one.

Perfect Family Holiday
Our family of 5 stayed at Leader Reef during a very hot week in January. We couldn't have picked a better place for our holiday! The house was amazing and Tania was fabulous - very thoughtful and great with the comms. The house has very functional spaces, the kitchen is well equipped and the bbq and pool are great as well. Having a large carport also worked a treat.
The house is away from the hustle and bustle but still walking distance to town. The views are amazing and there are short hiking paths right on the doorstep.
When we go on holidays we cook at our accommodation and we often find that we need to purchase extra utensils or food prep items but at Leader Reef we had everything we needed - even sharp chopping knives!
We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. A true home away from home.

Stunning vistas from the living room
It's April, when autumn is kicking in, and red leaves are falling off the trees. So where better to experience it than Leader Reef? It came with a wood-fired stove and double paned glass - the nearest I've come in Australia to my own native Canada. Wonderful evenings were enjoyed with cider or wine.

Girls Weekend
Leader reef is a beautiful, clean spacious home. Stayed for a girls weekend away and could not ask for better accommodation.

Amazing place to stay
Always love staying here. Full amenities, pool, large open spaces, quality finishes and a short walk to town. Perfect place for a girls weekend, family trip or a short getaway. Highly recommend

Nestled on a north-facing hill, high side of town hence the amazing views across the valley to Mount Porepunkah and Apex lookout.
Bright is all about outdoor pursuits and scenic beauty. You will discover cellar doors producing cool climate wines and farm gates selling the freshest of local produce.
Whatever season you visit, you'll be spoiled with stunning scenery. Come in winter for the wonderland of snow at Mount Buffalo, Mount Hotham and Falls Creek. Come in autumn to see why we are named the best autumn town in the country. Bright celebrates Autumn Festival for one week from end of April. Best time to book an autumn stay is from early April to late May.
Getting around
Leader Reef is about 15 minutes walk to town, going along Morses Creek path. The house has easy access to the Murray to Mountains Rails Trails, Huggins Lookout and Mystic MTB Park.

By road - Bright is about 3.5 hours drive from Melbourne via the M31 Hume Freeway and the Snow Road C522 near Glenrowan (Great Alpine Road) turnoff near Wangaratta. Bright is about 45 minutes from the turnoff.
By trains - trains run daily from Melbourne and Sydney via Wangaratta, an hour drive from Bright. Go to VLine website for timetable information.
By buses - VLine runs daily bus services to Bright. Go to VLine website for timetable information. Alps Bus Link offers services from Bright to Omeo via Harrietville, Mount Hotham and Dinner Plain. Go to Omeobus website for further information.
