Tyntynder Garden Cottages are located in the beautiful town of Bright, a town for all seasons. We are located on an acre of mature tranquil gardens down a quiet lane within walking distance to town.

Each cottage has its own private fully fenced yard for your own enjoyment that includes outdoor seating for 4 and a gas BBQ. Between the two cottages, they can accommodate 8 guests (4 in each cottage).

Tyntynder Garden Cottages are located within 100 metres of the Ovens River. As the cottages are pet friendly, you can take your pouch for a swim in the river. Or you can walk along the river into town to enjoy the wonderful delights of Bright.

There are over 92 kilometres of bike trails that you can enjoy. So our cottages cater for cyclists. You can store your bike in a fully secure shed or in the cottage.

I have just returned from a blissful few days at Tyntynder Garden Cottage 2 in Bright. It exceeded my expectations as a great place to stay. Gorgeous bedding which you sink into after a hard day of sampling the delights in Bright township. Everything from coffee to die for, to mouth watering food and the amazing range of local wines.
All the above and more is surrounded by an abundance of enormous deciduous trees that put on a spectacular display when the leaves change colour in Autumn.
I highly recommend Tyntynder Cottage 2 as a preferred place to stay. It's a great place to wind down in peace and tranquillity, looking out to trees from the balcony and hearing the Ovens River which is a mere 100 metres away. A perfect place for your dog as well.

Bright is a town for all seasons. You can enjoy the spectacular change of colour in the leaves in Autumn, access the ski fields in winter, enjoy the Spring Festival which showcases the great cafes and food and wine in the area and summer and has its own array of colours through to summer where you can relax with a picnic, go fishing and enjoy music under the stars.

There are over 92 kilometres of bike trails for the recreational cyclist to the tour de france enthusiast. The food and wine in the region is spectacular, from fresh berries, home made ice creams, olive oil, mustard and award winning wines.
Getting around
Tyntynder Garden Cottages is situated close enough to town that you can walk (about 20 minutes). There is a single car park directly outside the cottage. There is also additional parking at each end of the cottages on a first come first serve basis.

Bright is about 3.5 hours drive from Melbourne via the Hume Highway (M31) and the Snow Road (C522). Once you turn off the Hume it is about a 45 minute drive into Bright.
