Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.
If you have submitted a review for a holiday rental property, we may also ask that you provide us with proof of your stay to ensure that your review is attached to the correct rental property.

Beautiful Stay in Auburn
We recently stayed at the Adagio in Auburn while visiting the area for work-and we were so pleased that we did! Melissa, our host, had left so many thoughtful touches it really made our visit a pleasure, such as there was a coffee machine, fabulous bottle of wine, snacks, fresh cut flowers, beautifully presented fruit and breakfast platters, fluffy robes and the fireplace was set, just to name a few. Additionally, she recommended some great local spots for food and coffee. We really enjoyed sitting on the patio with a glass of wine overlooking the river. Fantastic stay, thank you Melissa!

Gorgeous, funky retreat: fresh flowers, lovely outlook and great breakfast.
We made this booking on the run and loved every minute of our stay. The accommodation is a renovated old building with heaps of character and a lovely outlook to a creek with frogs and birdsong serenading the evening, Mel has done a fabulous job of decorating with local artwork and comfortable furniture that leaves it wonderfully self- contained. Loads of fresh flowers complete the ambience. The log fire is welcome and the breakfast provisions for a cook-your own feast perfect. Highly recommended

Perfect, Private, Relaxing King Bedded B&B
Located in Auburn on the Reisling Trail of the Care Valley a short walk to renowned Terrior Restaurant and other great meal places. Very easy to drive to all places in Clare Valley from here. Adagio is bright and clean, well fitted out, the King Bed is super comfortable and Melissa's complimentary Breakfast supplies are very generous. Nothing extra needed. We greatly enjoyed the Reisling that Melissa kindly left for us in the fridge out on the very comfy sofa under the back porch with views into the garden and trees beyond.

Relax in comfort
I stayed at Adagio in Auburn for 2 weeks in early Decemeber for work. It has everything you need for a trip away. The B&B is very clean and modern with a super comfortable king size bed and a beautiful outdoor area to relax in. Melissa is a very friendly and thoughtful host providing breakfast provision. Adagio is a must for a weekend away

Beautiful B&B in a Beautiful Location
Wow! This place is Brilliant, you can see the thought and effort that has been put into this recently renovated B & B from the original slate floors to the Bed! We loved waking up to good coffee in the morning, then returning after a hard day visiting Wineries and sipping a G&T in the outdoor area. We are already planning our return trip in the cooler months to experience the difference, the original idea was to sit around the fire drinking Port and head outside to watch the mist over the landscape, maybe walk some of the Riesling trail but after speaking to Melissa, who actually renovated the place we are even more excited to return because she's NOT FINISHED as gorgeous as it is she's doing more, apparently there will be a Sauna in before the winter season and who knows what else, cant wait!! Ide recommend couples come here, it's beautiful and romantic but also very functional with a full kitchen etc if you want to just stay in. Auburn is Beautiful and made all the better by this Fantastic B & B

Adagio in Auburn
My husband and I spent a wonderful weekend in Adagio B and B in Auburn. The accommodation was excellent. The gardens were peaceful and the bird life fantastic with parrots of all sizes and colours. We especially enjoyed having breakfast on the patio overlooking the Wakefield River. Melissa, our host, was terrific, friendly and concerned to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We will definitely come again.
