Fantastic weekend away in lovely B & B
We stayed at Adagio for 2 nights celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary. From the moment we arrived we were impressed. Walking through the garden to the property was beautiful and inside everything we could wish for was done. From great platters of food to cook for breakfasts, to cheese and biscuits to savour while enjoying a glass of wine while sitting outside admiring the view and listening to the birds. The rooms are comfortably furnished with great bedding, good size towels in the bathroom. Melissa even recommended a nearby therapist for my wife to have a massage ( Body & Soul Natural Therapies). We will return next time we visit the lovely Clare Valley which is currently looking lush and green.

Perfect for us
Just a 2 night stay in Auburn but very happy we chose Adagio. This is the perfect place for a couple with a lovely setting, comfortable king size bed, pleasant outdoors and good breakfast provisions. Also a nice complimentary platter and bottle of local red. A functional kitchen, log fire and decent bathroom. You are a little way from Clare but you know that when you book. We will back.

Great stay unfortunately interrupted by Covid 19 lockdown
Great little place with the most comfortable King bed. Both of us slept perfectly and woke with no aches. Mel supplied a wonderful platter and breakfast provisions. Mel is a great person to deal with. Perfect place for two people close to the Rising Sun hotel and Terroir Restaurant. Also at the beginning of the Riesling Trail which we did half on on one day. Would have loved to stay for our entire booking but was cut short due to Covid hard lockdown in Adelaide. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect in every way!
This was our first stay in ‘Adagio in Auburn’ and it won’t be our last! As we stepped into the cottage we were impressed by its cosy, yet spacious feel. Mel has paid attention to every detail- great decor, comfy lounge, amazing bed, great shower, fruit, cheese, wine and so many breakfast goodies! The location was perfect to explore the region but also to relax and enjoy the tranquil garden or sit by the fireplace! While it is in a main road you don’t hear traffic at all. Exploration of the Riesling Trail was easy to organise with bike hire from Riesling Trail Bike Hire. A stunning place, can’t wait to return!

Best little break ever
The room was exactly as the photos show on the website. Just gorgeous. Very comfortable and the fire was great and warmed the cottage well. Breakfast and cheese platter was amazing and plenty for the two mornings and evenings. The location was terrific. It is walking distance to a pub 'The Rising Sun' for drinks and meals and also there a few wineries and coffee shops close by. No need to take the car for a couple of days which is lovely. We sat outside on freezing days in the sun and had our coffee and relaxed. I really really enjoyed our break at Adagio in Auburn.

Amazing stay at Adagio
This is one of the best BnBs we have stayed in. Location was good, service from Melissa was excellent, attention to details was above and beyond. The bed was super comfortable, ample breakfast provisions and a lovely cheese platter. Place was very clean and tidy and well kept and had everything we needed. View over garden was so nice to wake up to. When we go back to Clare will def be staying here again.

A superb combination of both style and comfort is incorporated by Meliss for all her guests.
Melissa has incorporated a superb sense of style, colour and home comfort for her guests. Everything I could possibly want in a bed and breakfast, was laid at my feet. I just fell in love with it, the moment I opened the door for the very first time. I could wish for a better place to stay in Auburn, South Australia.

Comfortable home away from home
Would recommend Adagio In Auburn to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. We stayed last weekend as we were attending a wedding in Auburn and were pleasantly surprised with everything. Where do we start, beautiful garden, well stocked country kitchen, cosy lounge room, comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. Then the extra touches... freshly cut flowers in every room, complimentary wine and the best provisions for breakfast we have ever had... bread, milk, eggs and two beautiful platters. The place is well decorated and very, very clean. Also very convenient as it's just a little walk into the main stretch of Auburn. Thank you Mel for a comfortable stay.

A hidden gem with all the "little things"
Thank you to Melissa for a wonderful stay, we loved your place & will be back! This is the perfect little gem tucked away in a quiet, natural setting and true to its name. We loved relaxing outside in the pretty garden setting & taking it all in. Perfectly appointed with quality furnishings & bedding - loved your style & decor. Melissa has thought of all the "little things" that set this place apart. From the delicious thank you slices left for us, the fresh flowers in all the rooms, the plentiful breakfast provisions, bathroom products & many other extras - she has not missed a beat. Melissa was helpful & accommodating throughout the process giving us great info on places to eat & things to do & we cannot recommend this place more highly. A great spot for exploring the region. We look forward to coming back & seeing all the things Melissa has in store for Adagio soon. We did not want to leave. A very big thank you!
