Farmers markets are held locally every Saturday,.The immediate area around Watsons Farm is popular with cyclists for its quiet country lanes and softly undulating countryside. There is ample storage space for bikes.

The respected Fox and Goose restaurant is in Fressingfield and has recently opened a bistro on its ground floor.Next door the Swan Inn has a good reputation for evening meals and its Sunday carvery. There is a very good village shop in Fressingfield ,open long hours and selling good local produce. Southwold, Dunwich and Walberswick are all within easy reach. Southwold is a delightful old fashioned sea side town with beach huts, a lighthouse, bookshops amd an award winning pier,. Freshly caught fish can be bought at the harbour. Walberswick on the other side of the estuary is a charming seaside village with a sandy beach and an annual crabbing competition popular with children.
