The respected Fox and Goose restaurant is in Fressingfield and has recently opened a bistro on its ground floor.Next door the Swan Inn has a good reputation for evening meals and its Sunday carvery. There is a very good village shop in Fressingfield ,open long hours and selling good local produce. Southwold, Dunwich and Walberswick are all within easy reach. Southwold is a delightful old fashioned sea side town with beach huts, a lighthouse, bookshops amd an award winning pier,. Freshly caught fish can be bought at the harbour. Walberswick on the other side of the estuary is a charming seaside village with a sandy beach and an annual crabbing competition popular with children.
