The Maison D'Amis is a self contained cottage which is attached but completely independent from the main chateau at Domaine de Polus. It has its own entrance and is next to the swimming pool and covered terrace. The cottage comprises of 2 bedrooms each with their own bathroom and a beautiful open plan sitting room / kitchen with dual aspect views toward St Emilion and chateau courros. There is a beautiful shaded terrace overlooking the 12m x 6m salt water pool.

The kitchen is very well equipped with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and all the kitchen utensils that you would need to enjoy a self catering holiday in this beautiful cottage. Beds are comfortable with good quality mattresses and pillows and the bedlinen is from John Lewis and the White company in London.

This is a quiet rural location surrounded by vines and apple orchards. There are beautiful walks amongst the vines but in order to make the most of a holiday here, it is necessary to hire a car.
We are 50 mins drive from Bordeaux city with its elegant shops and wonderful classic architecture.
10 mins drive from the Unesco world heritage centre of St Emilion, famous for its production of Red wine.

We are an hour by car from both Bordeaux and Bergerac airports. The train from Paris stops at Libourne, where car hire is available. We are then a short and easy 20 min drive. We have plenty of free parking on site. A car is a definite necessity in order to make the most of exploring this beautiful area.
