1 Bedroom , 1 Bathroom , Sleeps 2
Langrick, Boston, Lincolnshire, England
The beautiful riverside Witham Cottage is just north of the hamlet of Langrick, near Boston. It nestles in charming gardens right next to the peaceful River Witham as it takes its journey from the magnificent city of Lincoln down to the medieval port of Boston. Carefully and lovingly prepared, Witham Cottage is the self-contained annex to a classic Georgian farmhouse occupied by the owners of the cottage.

Enjoy two acres of gardens and the private stretch of the riverbank which is so quiet all you'll hear is the sounds of the countryside or maybe you'll be lucky enough to see a little cabin cruiser bob along in front of you.

You're assured the warmest of welcomes from Kathy and Alan who are always on hand to give you advice on the local area. The self-catering cottage reflects the country style of living and is beautifully...

About the neighbourhood
Witham Cottage is 7 miles from the market town of Boston. Once Englands most important port after London, its heart is dominated by the magnificent cathedral-like church of St Botolph, the largest parish church in England. Its tower rises 272 feet above the surrounding landscape. On a clear day it is possible to see four counties from the viewing platform up the bell tower. Within easy reach of the church, through the cobbled street of Wormgate, you reach the charming tree-lined Boston Marina. Stroll along the riverside and view the many different watercraft all moored alongside, bobbing up and down on the river. The twice-weekly market convenes in front of the church on Wednesdays and Saturdays with a local craft market most Thursdays.Off the main centre are several mediaeval streets wit... more
