Drive slower, let yourself unwind! Vacations can be magical and life-changing! Let this charming cabin be your sanctuary during your Yellowstone getaway! The cabin offers 1 bedroom with a queen bed resting in a beautiful gnarly log frame with a bear carved into the headboard. The owner, Carole, (Vicky's mom) jokes that she bought the bed and the cabin came with it. There is a river rock fireplace, wood floors, knotty pine ceiling and tasteful art. The conveniences of wifi, Dishnet, and a flat screen tv and a wide selection of movies will keep you entertained and connected...but not too much. We encourage you to disconnect, break the pattern, and enjoy all that this soothing location and vista offers! All the conveniences are here, washer/dryer, well-stocked kitchen, gas bbq, picnic table, a spotting scope, air conditioning, with most every appliance one could want. WARNING: Your peace may be disturbed by birds tweeting, cows mooing or coyote's howling, in the distance, of course! For a small additional fee, you may use our canoe or snowshoes. Minimal. We live 1/2 mile away and are always available for a chat, or for assistance. About 5 miles away in the town of Pray, my husband, a Gary, is always available for information gathering, history, fishing and hiking ideas. Info about these activities are in the cabin too, as well as restaurants.

About the neighbourhood
Pet friendly, small additional fee. Located 1.5 miles off of a paved two-lane road. This road is well-maintained and is easily accessed by all vehicles, including motorcycles. The area is rural, open with some large ranches and a few full-time residents. There is not too much to look at, except pure unadulterated nature, mountains, deer, eagles, red-tail hawks, foxes and elk, especially in the seasons when the weather is changing. Located 20 miles from Livingston and 35 miles from Gardiner, 5 miles from the historic and infamous Chico Hot Springs and the quaint lodge of Pine Creek. Waterfalls and fishing streams are minutes away. Back roads to Yellowstone will surprise you with photo opportunities of antelope, big horn sheep, mule deer and white tail deer, elk and pretty vistas of t...

Need a car. Wintertime, you will most likely be fine with a front-wheel drive, AWD or four-wheel drive.
