We were visiting Keady and had no reservation but the couple who own Dundrum House, Larry and Elizabeth Nugent were so welcoming on a dark, slightly cool October night. The stone home dates to 1720 and they have renovated it beautifully keeping the integrity of the original architecture and detailing. The home is spotless, with large rooms with very comfy beds and your own private washroom with shower. The breakfast prepared by Elizabeth was delicious as it was generous.
We were visiting Keady to check on family roots and Larry introduced us to the woman who owns the post office (down the hill) who shared my last name (we decided we were long lost relatives) The countryside around Keady is beautiful and we toured around the remnants an old flax/linen mill.
For a simply wonderfully relaxing and most hospitable stay don't think twice - book Dundrum House.
