We stayed here with our children and their grandparents and loved every minute of our holiday. The house is so well equipped for families and really feels like a home from home. Hazel is extremely helpful and welcoming. Can not recommend this place enough.

We could not have been happier with the house which felt really homely. Hazel the owner could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Our kids enjoyed the space to run around outside while we sat back and took in the beautiful outlook. A thoroughly...More

About the neighbourhood
There are lots of places worth a visit within half an hour.
Boscastle - a small fishing village with a pretty harbour area. Lots of good places to eat and drink. Made famous in 2004 when it was very badly flooded.
Port Isaac is another fishing village going south along the coast, very quaint with lots of old cottages and very narrow streets used for the location of Doc Martin.
Widemouth Bay is a long sandy beach good for surfing, it has a good fresh fish shop too.
Bude has 2 main beaches, Summerleaze beach has the benefit of a great sea pool too. There are lots of small shops and this is the closest place to find a big supermarket.
North of Bude there are lots of quieter beaches - try Sandymouth for a sandy beach, or Duckpool for some excellent rock pooling!
