There are 2 bedrooms, large bathroom with separate toilet, utility room with washing machine. Large sitting room with fully equipped kitchen/diner. and patio doors leading onto a completely private patio area with BBQ, table and chairs for eating 'alfresco'. Las Peyras is ideally situated to explore the many places of interest in this beautiful part of France. Bergerac at just 15minutes drive is a very pretty vibrant old town. With its many boutiques and restaurants catering for all budgets. Bergerac lives and thrives thanks to its legendary local gastronomy , regional wines, bustling markets, antique fairs and pedestrian walkways. You can spend a very enjoyable afternoon strolling along its beautifully cobbled streets, or relaxing in the square whilst admiring the museums or hopping onto the river boat and sailing down the stunning Dordogne river taking in the breath taking views or simply birdwatching. If you are a wine lover Bergerac vineyards cover 13,000 hectares in 93 villages!!! Markets are an important daily life in France, it is a chance for non-french speakers to practice your french skills. If you are in France during the cherry and strawberry season make sure to buy some. They will be the best fruit you have tasted! There are many other places to visit like the picturesque Dronne Valley Brantome, Bordeaux, Perigueux, Aubeterre and Sarlat with its many prehistoric caves. There are lots of activities within easy access which include canoeing, cycling, walking, golf at nearby Chateaux Vigier . Man made beaches just 15 minutes drive which has many activities for children including canoeing/karting /play parks etc also with cafe bars and restaurants. Festivals/fetes also in the local region are another delight and are supported by the local people. If you are searching for peace and tranquility as part of your holiday in the countryside then this property could be ideal for you. More
