Mooring your own boat is a possibility, contact me for details. The Hemlock Cottage is within steps of the river, and has a unique feel to it. The layout is small, but spacious for it's size and easily accommodates guests. It is perfect for couples but can sleep up to 4. The kitchen is fully stocked and there's seating for 3 at the dining bar. There is A/C, WiFi, and a 32' TV with internet streaming service. The bedroom has a nice queen pillowtop mattress. The kitchen and bedroom will be getting a make-over in May for the upcoming season to better accommodate guests. The nice new deck outside is perfect for a relaxing view of the river and general lounging. I have seen nearly everything in this area and am a great resource during your stay. I will meet with you after you arrive and give you advice about the area and things you can enjoy during your vacation.More

About the neighbourhood
The AuTrain River provides excellent swimming, and canoeing/kayaking as it winds 12 miles through the Hiawatha National Forest. Further down river puts you into Lake Superior and quite possibly the best beach on all of Lake Superior. The National Lakeshore provides days worth of outdoor activities. If you are into fishing, Trout and Salmon are the most commonly fished in Lake Superior.
How to get there
Use Google maps, search for AuTrain River Cottages, it will bring you right there. House number is 7131 and there is parking for up to two vehicles.
