Public pool next door. Beach next to that..
Large living/dinning space with a large sofa bed. 2 mins walk to the beautiful horse shoe beach and incredibly large sand dune. Cafes, restaurants and shops close by.

Salir do Porto is a beautiful village on the opposite side of the bay to Sao Marthinho do Porto, it is very traditional and surrounded by hills and forest - it is especially green and peaceful. The local people are very friendly. Local vegetable market and a fish van and bread van come every morning to your door. Shop and pub and a club are in easy reach. Nice location, beautiful accomodation. The place is big, good for 5 people, its clean, a few minutes from the beach, and at night very quiet to sleep. A working tv and wifi, would made it a great deal.

Unlike south of portugal the temperature never gets very hot. A cool breeze cools the place in the Summer and is very pleasant, especially if you have young kids.There are numerous beaches within easy reach of the apartment, between them they have miles of golden sand, fantastic surfing and quiet sandy bays offering safe swimming for the children.
The area of Salir do porto is a quiet town next to sao martinho do porto with friendly natives

Sao Martinho – Semi-circular bay with only small opening to the sea, offering warmer, calmer waters. There’s a relaxing atmosphere and some beach front café/bars.

Getting to the apartment
Nearest airport is Lisbon - 1 hour by car
Exit from motorway at Sao Martinho do Porto
Go straight toward town till you meet the bay and turn left.
Follow road all the way around the bay( Salir do Porto) thru 2 small roundabouts and at the 3rd roundabout turn right immediately and follow 250 yards to the last road on left before road ends at Salir Beach and the large sand dune.
Up that road first house on right (Rua de Maio 27).

Lisbon Airport is a 55 minute drive away, up the A8 motorway. Porto airport is a 2-3 hour drive away. Most of the low cost airlines travel to Lisbon airport. If you require information on booking flights, please ask. Car rental is available at all airports. Train and buses can be caught from Lisbon to Sao Martinho ( 2 miles from Salir)...
