The pretty Cottage is a fantastic property in the grounds of the Chateau and has access to all the external facilities and the 5 acres of grounds and heated pool shared with the Chateau.
It is cosy and rustic with many exposed beams and has been lovingly renovated retaining a vast array of original features without being too formal. It is furnished in a period style in keeping with its rustic surroundings and provides lots of little luxuries that make a holiday here something quite special.

There is a large heated outdoor pool (30 x 15 feet) in the 5 acres of grounds which include a duck pond, meditation island and secret swing garden.

From the outset communicating up to the rental was a positive experience - very friendly, forthcoming and generally reliable in responding to me very quickly. They are English which helps seeing us none of our group had any fluency in French, barely competent for even...More

The rate quoted is for up to 6 people occupying the Cottage, therefore having a total of 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 living room and 1 kitchen. The price is for our Economy tariff which includes heating, hot water, pool heating (in season) and electricity. You can upgrade to our Premium tariff for an extra £90 for up to 6 people which includes bed linen, towels, pool towels, dressing gowns for the adults, champagne welcome, luxury toiletries and starter kitchen essentials such as dishwasher tablets. Please note the pool opens at mid April and closes mid October. If in doubt as to whether the pool will be operational during your stay, please ask.

About the neighbourhood
Grandcourt is a typical pretty French country village with a breathtaking church and just two shops – a grocers, and that all-important bakers where after a three minute walk you will be able to buy your freshly baked bread and croissants each morning for breakfast. The village also has its own very authentic bar in the village square. The locals are very friendly and it’s impossible to pass someone in the street without them saying a friendly “bonjour”. The village is right on the edge of the beautiful Forest of Eu with its amazing cycle paths and walks and less than 10 minutes drive through the forest brings you to the picturesque market town of Blangy-sur-Bresle with its lively Sunday morning market and eclectic collection of shops as well as a large supermarket. It's just an hour and a half's drive from Calais, where you have a choice of ferry operators from the UK. About one hour and twenty minutes is Boulogne, where there's a cheap and fast service into from the UK, or you can sail into Dieppe from Newhaven, and Dieppe is just a half hour drive. If you are flying, the Chateau is an hour and a half from Beauvais airport where Ryanair currently fly into from Dublin and Glasgow. It's about two and a half hours from Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris.
