Honnehokke Resort

Chalet -
7 Bedrooms , 10 Bathrooms , Sleeps 34
Hondeklip Bay, Northern Cape
Established in 1993, the Honnehokke has been pointed out by various magazines as the most friendly holiday establishment on the Namaqualand, West Coast. All our chalets have been renovated in 2014.

It is a tranquil oasis for those tired of the huzzle and buzzle of city life.

Our chalets are homely, comfortable, clean, and fully-equipped. We can accommodate one to six guests at affordable prices. Each chalet has a private braai area. All our chalets have en-suite bathrooms in the main bedrooms.

We welcome your socialized pets, as we know you love yours as much as we love ours.

We pride ourselves with the fact that we have the only swimming pool in town where our guests (those not brave enough to face the cold waters of the ocean) can cool down.

We offer dinner and breakfast, but booking prior to arrival essential. All our meals are m...

Hondeklipbay is raw, basic but peacefull. The people of the area is the character of Hondeklipbay. The Honnehokke stays in character. Basic, clean, comfortable. Fits the ambience and environment like a glove. Loved the quiteness.

How to get there
Airport: Cape Town: 560.0 km
Travelling from Cape Town:
Travel north on the N7 towards Springbok and turn left approximately 8 km past Garies. You will see the signpost pointing towards Hondeklipbaai. Continue carefully on the gravel road for 83 km until you reach the town. NB: Refuel at Garies before diverting to Hondeklipbaai.
Travelling from Springbok:
It is advisable NOT to follow your GPS because it will take you over the Wildeperdehoek Pass which requires 4-wheel drive and good ground clearance.
Travel west towards Kleinsee for approximately 35 km and exit left towards Kommagas just before the tar road ends. In Kommagas, keep right at the split in the road.
