This beautifully converted farm building is full of quirky features and charm with thick curvy stone walls and beams. It has been lovingly restored by local craftsmen inspired by the architectural ideas of Rudolf Steiner. Downstairs is open plan with oak flooring. The kitchen has a Rayburn for Winter use, a gas hob and electric oven and fitted kitchen. There is a pine dining area and the living room has two settees and a wood burning stove. It has a double bedroom, a twin bedded galleried bedroom and a single sleeping loft. Please note that the single sleeping loft is through an archway from the galleried bedroom + that it is not possible to stand in it...it is very popular with children. Like no other place we have stayed. The most beautiful peaceful location. Anna has provided an environment that is both relaxing and serene. Will be back in the future. The Cowshed is very unusual and provides a wonderful and interesting place to stay.

About the neighbourhood
Superb location...just walk out of the gardens and you are on the moors with sheep and wild ponies! Walk in one direction for 5 minutes and you get to Gors Fawr ancient stone circle or in the other direction for 20 minutes and you are at the bottom of the Preseli Mountains...the ridge is known as the 'Golden Road' and ancient trade route... Hear the skylarks and watch birds of prey circling the skies...this is wild and magical land... We also have a fire pit out on the moor...you can go and gather wood and have a fire as the sun goes down! Our closest beaches are 12 miles from here Poppit Sands and Newport being the closest...Pembrokeshire has an abundance of beautiful beaches and the coastal path is truly stunning...
Getting around
Easiest by car...but some people bring bikes and or arrive by train...
