A self contained suite, part of a period barn conversion in the courtyard of our Grade 11* Listed house. The suite has its own front door leading to a spacious living/dining room with large glass bifold doors making it beautifully light and sunny. There is no actual kitchen but the living area has a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle and is full equipped with crockery, cutlery etc. If you want to self cater, just leave the washing up for me to collect every day. The stairs lead up to a galleried bedroom with double bed and en suite shower room. The suite is very quirky, a mixture of period charm, original low beams and a vaulted ceiling, but with a modern twist. The suite is centrally heated and has wifi and a 52' TV. The pictures of this accommodation are impressive but the reality is better. This is a genuine historical property, there is nothing artificial about it at all. The setting is beautiful. The cooking facilities may be minimalist but when you have Farrington's farm food complex and...More

Thank you for your review, we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay here. You are right, Farrington's Farm shop, café, deli and fish and chips is an excellent facility in the village, no need to cook when you are on holiday!

Reviewed 20 July 2014

Charlotte and Brian were perfect hosts: available and approachable, but giving us all the space and privacy we needed. The Old Parsonage was an interesting place historically and was even visited by royalty last century! The self catering rooms were immaculately clean and comfortable, exactly...More
