Beautiful cabin! Would be great Spring or Fall. Winter was a bit cold and the heater couldn’t keep up. Sits right on the river. You can fish from the deck. Overall a great cabin!

Great location - 15 minutes from Dahlonega & 30 mi...
Great location - 15 minutes from Dahlonega & 30 minutes from Helen. Cute - Clean - Comfortable. Enjoyed coffee on the deck overlooking the river. Quiet & comfortable for a weekend getaway.
*we did have quite a bit of confusion getting into the cabin - so recommend confirming the logistics prior to arriving - other than that it was a perfect trip*

2nd time staying here. Love the creek side location, great spot for relaxing, and Wine touring. Lots of wineries close by, distillery close by. Owner is very responsive to questions. Will likely stay here again in the future, we love Dahlonaga..!

We 1st want to say the cabin is in a great location to hike and see the area! 2nd the Cabin is decorated cute, has all the amenities needed for a great stay with stocked kitchen, dishwasher, washer/dryer, very a comfy bed, and nice living space. We enjoyed the deck with the beautiful Chestatee river below.
We arrived and let the owner know that upon inspection a few items that needed attention: we noticed a board in front of door was coming up. There had been soap scum covering the shower caddy. The vacuum was full of debris.
Lastly and more importantly that we had found 2 roaches we figured since its in the woods and near a water (river) they might be wood roaches. The owner responded quickly with the cabin is treated quarterly by a pest control company which put our mind at ease a little.
However!!!!!!
Well we still continued to kill 1-2 roaches that we had seen when we arrived home from being out all day enjoying the area.
On our 4th night of our week long stay
I happened to be up late & needed a drink of water later around 10pm & went into the kitchen. When I flipped on the light HOLLY COW ROACHES everywhere!!! Of all sizes!!! I was absolutely HORRIFIED!! & started killing them. I contacted the owner that we would be leaving & we asked for a refund for the 3 days we could not use due to the roach Infestation, the owner understood, apologized greatly, & would be refunding us. We thanked the owner for all the help.

The cabin is great and as described in the listing. A little hiccup on check in but the owner was very responsive. The dirt driveway was a bit intimidating at first but very manageable. The cabin is secluded and scenery is beautiful. Reasonably close to Dahlonega and also Helen GA.
