We were in town for a wedding in Atlanta and decided we would chill with the family a few days in the North Georgia mountains before going home our separate ways. We were very pleased with the cabin. It had everything you could think of to prepare meals and be very comfortable. It was over the top with thoughtful extras. My son has a 1 year old and a three year old and it was perfect for the children. We would definitely stay there again or recommend the cabin to our friends in Atlanta.

I tell you the pictures don’t do this property justice. It’s adorable in the pictures but when you walk in there’s such a cozy feeling. There is anything you could ever need. Excellent mattresses and linens. The views are so pretty from every window. The property is secluded but close enough to restaurants and downtown. We will be booking again for sure! Thank you!

The cabin and property exceeded all expectations. Extremely clean with a fantastic wrap around porch. I would recommend The Laurel to anyone looking to relax and have have all the advantages of Dahlonega with the wineries within a short drive.

The cabin was beyond our expectation. It is in a beautiful setting that feels remote but is close to downtown and the many wineries in the area. (Cavender Creek, Kaya, Three Sisters and Montaluce were wonderful. Save plenty of time to linger on the terraces at Wolf Mountain, absolutely stunning)
The decor is soothing and tastefully done, the beds were so comfortable and the cabin itself feels very cozy.
I stay in a lot of VRBOs, and I am amazed that Barbara has thought of so many things to make the stay perfect.
We will definitely be back!!

This property was the perfect retreat for my family. We needed a break and the cabin was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and the most well-stocked property i which I have ever stayed. The owner was very responsive when I requested directions for a hike for my children and grandchildren, giving me just what I needed. We will definitely be staying in this cabin again.

This precious cabin in the woods was a great place to escape with family for a few days. The porch was quite inviting, so this is where we spent most of our time catching up. The owner is very welcoming and accommodating. I’d definitely come back.
