Three floors of “home” with all of the amenities including a backyard river, fire pit and s’mores, made this vacation one for a repeat. The family thoroughly enjoyed it and our week together. We were warm and cozy there and had plenty of local shopping and fun when we were out and about.

As is described in the pictures on the VRBO website. A perfect place for family to enjoy together and make great memories. Loved the River being right behind the place and an absolute perfect place to have a cup of coffee in the morning .

Excellent location along the Chestatee River. House was very spacious. Family down from NY, 10 total with plenty of room to spare. Love the house and area.
If I had one gripe it would be the dirt road leading to the house. I make this statement because I had a 15 passenger van( it made for a sporty drive) for the wedding. There was plenty of parking space down behind the property. Overall a wonderful place for family to gather.

I booked this cabin to give my wedding party a place to stay and to have space for the girls to get ready for the big day. We couldn’t have been more pleased! Lots of space, lovely river view, and big living space made it an easy place to relax and get ready. Highly recommended- we hope to come back!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! Everything was picture perfect! The house was so roomy, comfortable, clean, and overall just fantastic! The setting was idyllic! The view was spectacular! We so enjoyed sitting by the river and fire pit and just enjoying the quietness and the sounds of the river! The lawn area was perfect for setting up our Corn Hole game! The location of your home was so easy accessible to town and other venues! Thank you again for a most remarkable weekend trip! We will definitely be returning!

We had a lovely time at Chestatee River Retreat! Our 2 teenagers were very happy with the access to the river and their own private bedrooms down stairs with a den and kitchen to stay up late and watch movies!
My 80 year old mom loved having her bedroom on the main level with the kitchen and amazing screened in porch. She was able to watch the kids play in the river without navigating the steps.
We used the charcoal grills to make some great family meals and could all fit at the large dining room table. We also used this great table to play lots of games during the evening.
Our crew could hang out all together on the screened in porch. For movie time, we had to split up with half of us on the main floor and the other half in the lower level den. Everything was super clean and tidy and Mitch was just a text away if we had questions.
Chestatee River Retreat was a great place for a very active vacation. We all definitely got our steps in both inside and outside the house. The fire pit area down by the river is worth bringing down all the supplies for smores and a night of sitting by the fire. It was also great to be able to purchase the firewood right on the spot! This was definitely one to remember!!!!!

From the start, Mitch has been the best host. From assisting with wheelchair accessibility to adjustments in guests, he has always responded quickly. The place was clean and comfortable, and is accessible. There were 9 in our group and we never felt crowded or cramped. Location is quiet and out of the way, right on the Chestatee River. Centrally located near hiking, fishing and sightseeing. If I'm ever in the area again, i will definitely choose this place to stay. Thanks Mitch.
