Historic 1920's Mediterranean & 1950’s Historic mixed-use building in Burns Square, downtown Sarasota, safely nestled between high-end residential neighborhoods of Palm Avenue, Laurel Park and Hudson Bayou. Apartment is private and secure, located on the second floor (stairs) with original hardwood floors, entrance foyer, dinning room, shower, kitchen, living room and bedroom with lots of closet space. Nicely furnished with queen bed as well as sofa bed in living room. Upon request two single beds can be provided. Great place, clean and comfortable.
Short walk to local (not chain) cafes and restaurants, including BBQ. A little longer walk gets you to the waterfront, boat rentals and more restaurant options.

Burns Court Condo
We just spent a delightful 4 days in the heart of historic Burns Court. This renovated apartment was so wonderfully located in it's proximity to historic Sarasota. Everything is walkable. Denise, the building owner is on sight and always accommodating.

About the neighbourhood
Located in downtown Sarasota, Florida, United States, this is the nicest and safest mixed-use neighborhood in the city core, historic buildings, south of Main Street and nestled between historic high-end residential Palm Avenue and Laurel Park, and close to the Bayfront Marina & Park, tiki bar, boat, jet ski and paddle board rentals. We are centrally located between Siesta Key and Lido Beaches.
There are a plethora of daytime amenities and evening activities within walking distance. Many great restaurants, shopping, movie theaters, performance theaters, transportation, parks, boating and so much more!
Getting around
There is a free IRide system downtown that is just a phone call or hail ride away. They run from 11AM - 11PM and will pick you up and drop you off anyplace in the downtown core. There is a county wide bus system SCAT and the terminal is only 4 blocks away on Lemon Avenue. In addition, Uber and Lyft are very active in the area. There is also a bike rental, boat rentals, paddle boards and other rentals within walking distance.

We are 15 minutes from the Sarasota Bradenton Airport if you fly in, only 20 minutes off I75 highway if you drive in and right next to the marina if you boat in.
Once in town, we are located at 531 S. Pineapple Avenue in the Historic Burns Square district of downtown Sarasota. We are only two blocks off US41 and 4 blocks off Fruiteville Road. We have two entrances into the property so you can also use the address 530 S. Orange Avenue, Sarasota, FL 34236.
