Midway is a substantial 4 bedroom detached house sitting in its own large plot with wonderful views across the rolling South Hams countryside out to sea. A family holiday here will certainly be one to remember. The hardest decisions will be whether to take a stroll along the country lane to the sandy beach of Mothecombe; a more bracing walk along the coastal path; nip along to the local farm to purchase some home made ice cream or just chill out and take in the stunning views from the private secluded garden. What’s not to love! Enter through the front door into a large hallway. From here you can go right into the kitchen /diner. A large utility room is found off the kitchen and is furnished with another dishwasher, fridge, freezer and sink. Doors lead to both the front and back gardens. Off the hallway is the lounge; a lovely large triple aspect room with views over the back garden. There is plenty of comfy seating for all the family. Furnished with book shelves, television and the focal point being the wood burning stove. The large sun room at the back of the house can be used either as a children's room, dining room or just a lovely bright space to relax and read a book. Glazed sliding doors lead out on to the large patio. Upstairs are 4 good sized bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom is dual aspect and enjoys fabulous uninterrupted views of rolling countryside and distant sea views. A glazed door leads out on to a balcony; the perfect place to watch the sunset with a glass or 2 of wine! Bedroom 2 is also dual aspect with views over the front and back gardens. This room is furnished with a double bed and a small sofa bed making it a perfect family room. There is ample space for a cot too. Bedroom 3 has a double bed and the 4th bedroom has comfy bunk beds suitable for adults. There are 2 bathrooms on this floor: the family bathroom fitted with bath with shower over, toilet and sink. Next to the master bedroom is the modern fully tiled wet room. Midway has a large, flat private garden at the back of the property. The large patio has plenty of outdoor seating and a bar b que, perfect for al fresco dining on those balmy summer evenings. At the front there is a gravel drive with ample parking for 4 cars. Midway is a lovely family house in the most perfect location and is a must for family groups of all shapes and sizes! More

A large house in a quiet rural location. A half hour stroll to two lovely beaches, with a character cafe on route - what’s not to enjoy. Although plenty of space for our party of four, any larger party might struggle that only six could...More
