The location was what drew us to this home and it worked out great. The fenced yard was awesome for our dog. Nice walkable neighborhood. We were there for the month of January and the weather did not cooperate (everyone said it was the worst winter in at least a decade). Because of the weather, we did not get out and explore as much as we would have liked. House itself is nice and had everything we needed. Only complaint was the living room furniture is not the most comfortable (we spent more time there than someone normally would because of weather and a health issue that came up while there). This is a solid 5 star review and we had a great time despite a few things out of everyone's control!

The Salt Life property is wonderful! All of our friends and family, including Vida the dog, enjoyed our stay very much. The fenced-in yard was great for our dog, we loved the huge deck, screened in porch with tv, fire pit, and the waterfront. We will definitely stay here again. Bill, the owner, was so helpful. He responded to any questions or things we needed super-fast and was very accommodating. Highly recommend this property.

Lovely home in a friendly, quiet neighborhood. We cooked all our meals and I loved at how equipped the kitchen was! Sitting on the docks, drinking coffee in the mornings, and around the firepit at night, was just what we needed. We will plan to come back again!

A nice long weekend to visit family, we loved our stay at the “Salt Life”. Clean, quiet and roomy. The pictures and descriptions online were exactly as described. A beautiful deck that wrapped around the canal allowing you to fish with an attached boat dock to use the paddle boat. Plenty of space for outdoor entertainment and a covered screened in outdoor area. Close to restaurants and live entertainment. We look forward to staying again.

Second time staying in this amazing property. Has everything you need for a great stay. Boat ramp and dock are very convenient and in great condition. Host is great and easily accessible. Will be staying again in the future.

Very nice, well cared for property right on the canal. First day there we saw a juvenile black tip shark swim past the floating dock. The yard was spacious and perfect to play fetch with our pup.
We stayed for the month and the home had everything we could need. The owners are right down the street in case you need anything and are very nice and full of local knowledge.
Plenty of Door Dash options in the area if you don’t feel like cooking and very close to grocery stores and a nice little bait shop. Great base to explore the area from.
We would definitely stay again.
