We stayed over the Bank Holiday weekend. Great location for both Carrantoohil and the Ring of Kerry. Cottage on working dairy farm, the property immaculate. Owners very welcoming and happy to assist.would definitely stay again

We loved this cottage and it was a clear winner for us - we hated leaving and definately plan to return! It was well placed for the Ring of Kerry, Dingle Peninsula, Killarney and Kenmare - Killorglin is very near as well. Quiet location but...More

It is surrounded by the majestic McGillycuddy Reeks which boasts Ireland highest mountain Carrauntoohil (3414 feet). McGillycuddy Reeks has many more notable peaks over 3000 feet high, makes this a mecca for Mountain climbers and hill walkers. The main river is the River Laune, famous for it's brown trout and salmon fishing. This beautiful clean slow flowing river drains the Killarney Lakes and after a 14 mile course empties itself into Dingle Bay.Walking - Hill 4 miles. Childrens Playground, Golf, Traditional Music 4.5 miles. Fishing 5 miles. Horse riding 9 miles. Cycling, Cinema, Leisure centre and indoor pool 10 miles.
