We stayed in The Nest for 4 nights. Lovely little studio flat with everything we needed. Cosy and warm. Short walk from the front and shops. Would recommend this flat to anyone looking for a wee place to stay in Millport.

Lovely island popular with cyclists(cycle hire is available on the island) and wildlife enthusiasts. Millport has everything for a short break or longer with the handiness of largs a short ferry trip away . Some lovely beaches and child safe play areas . If you fancy a wee day in largs , it's only 15 mins away and you can enjoy more shopping inc Morrisons and nardinis (famous for its ice cream)and tintos tapas bar as well as 2 indian restaurants and a variety of takeaways and pubs with entertainment. There is a nice new large Wetherspoon type bar called the paddle steamer just at the ferry port . Lots of good eating places and asmusements and play areas for children
Getting around
The Millport bus meets the ferry from largs which is every half hour , then it's a 5 min bus trip round to the small town of Millport . Most people go for cycling , walking , and golfing and of course some world famous annual events like the country and western weekend! And other popular events .
