Quiet Retreat Convenient to Telluride

Our family of four stayed in this lovely home for two nights over the New Year's holiday. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen very well stocked. The setting is beautiful, quiet and private. No TV, if that is a must-have for you.

Our home is on a 35 acre parcel on Iron Springs Mesa at about 8500 elevation about 25 miles west of the Telluride ski and golf resort. The property is in a beautiful setting with an open meadow and surrounding Aspen, Ponderosa and Spruce trees. The home looks out on the San Miguel Mountain range with Mt Wilson and Lizard Heard as the center piece, providing a really breathtaking vista. There are a number of homes on Iron Springs Mesa each on roughly 35 acre parcels, some occupied full-time year round and others as part-time residences for the home owners. The roads are all well maintained, summer and winter with easy access to the property. The property can accommodate parking for 3 - 4 cars.
