About the neighbourhood
Timble is in an area of 'Outstanding Natural Beauty' 9 miles from Harrogate in Nidderdale. Perfect for visiting all the treasures of North and West Yorkshire as it is centrally located for access to Harrogate, Ilkley, Bolton Abbey, Skipton, York, Pateley Bridge as well as the Yorkshire Dales National park.
There is an excellent village pub/restaurant within a 2 minute walk from the cottages and we even have our own chapel.
The nearest town of Otley is a 15 minute drive away where there are all the amenities of a small market town.
Surrounded by panoramic beautiful countryside the village sits on a hill overlooking The Washburn Valley and Snowden Moor.
There is no public transport in the area and a car is a must. The nearest airport (Leeds/Bradford) is 20 minutes away and the n...
Getting around
A car is quite the thing to get around if you want to explore The Yorkshire Dales properly. However, if you want to base yourself in Timble we have lovely walks, cycle trails and panoramic walks all on the doorstep. We even have a pub within a 2 minute walk from the cottages.
