Other attractions in the area include the historic Cavalier town of Torrington,Dartington Crystal,RHS Rosemoor Gardens,Bideford, and from here you can enjoy day trips to Lundy Island on the MS Oldenburg,Tapeley Park, and numerous National Trust properties. On entering the delightful property you will firstly find yourself in the useful utility/boot room with stunning original flagstone floor with freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer however the majority of the accommodation is located on the first floor. The utility/boot room on the ground floor is the perfect place to leave all of your outdoor clothing before ascending the stairs onto the first floor, this immediately opens into a spacious kitchen/diner with breakfast bar and also a separate table and chairs for more relaxed meals. Even though the kitchen looks fabulously authentic it includes all the modern conveniences such as an electric range oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. From here you will then discover the lounge and this is presented in a lovely light and airy country style and boasts a Smart TV with Freesat, and also a cosy wood burner. On the other side of the property, you will find the king-size bedroom with stunning antique French bed frame, and sitting next to this is the shower room with underfloor heating and WC,period style bathroom furniture and a custom made glass and oak framed shower surround. Venturing outside,a lovely small lawn area is located at the side of the property and here a bistro table and chairs and BBQ have been provided for guests, further to this it is possible to explore the land. There is ample off-road parking provided in the main car park or one space available in the garage below the cottage. More

Beautiful property, thoughtfully decorated with lots of original historic features. Owners very friendly, as are the resident peacocks! Great location to explore both North and South Devon. Attractive gardens and grounds, teaming with bird life. Would highly recommend.
