This place is new and has modern appliances, but the hot water didn't work, and the fireplace would never light. When we called the management company for help, they told us the maintenance man was off duty and he doesn't like to answer his phone at night. Pretty terrible service for what we paid! We have stayed at the Redwoods in Yosemite many times over the years. This was the worst experience we've had. If they would have done something to compensate us we would have understood that it's a new cabin and problems happen, but they were adamant that they could not reduce the cost of the rental, give us a free night, or anything. They offered us 1 free night when it's not peak season if we come back. Don't think we will bother. They had a chance to make it right and didn't.
