Fulvy, Yonne, Bourgogne-Franche-Comte
Coach House dates from the 16th century and has been lovingly restored to keep many of the original features such as oak beams and flagstone floors. As well as a gorgeous place to stay in the spring and summer months Coach House has a lovely wood burning stove and heating throughout, also making it ideal for off autumn and winter lets. It offers a great holiday either for just relaxing by the pool or for discovering this wonderful area.
Our whole property is great for children, safe and enclosed with a play room and many toys. The village of Fully nestles in rolling countryside between the Chablis and Côte De Nuits vineyards, surrounded by wheat fields and sunflowers, forest and pasture. Its low rolling hills make it a beautiful area for walking and cycling. Opposite our house run both the Armançon river and the Burgundy canal, which of...

I will keep this brief. This is a hidden gem in the Burgendy countryside. I am not at all surprised that all the reviews are excellent. The cottages are decorated to a very high expensive standard, even the BBQ is a large Webber. The Coach...More

About the neighbourhood
Fulvy is a medieval village in the heart of the Tonnerrois, in the Yonne region of Burgundy. The village is surrounded by wheat fields and sunflowers, forest and pasture. Its low rolling hills make it a beautiful area for walking and cycling. Opposite our house run both the Armançon river and the Burgundy canal, which offer wonderful access to the countryside, villages and restaurants.

The Tonnerrois is a land of Stone, Water, Forest, and Vineyards. It has a rich and varied heritage with beautiful churches, abbeys, Châteaux and Lavoirs (the ancient wash houses). This video gives a good introduction to the area.

The living heritage sites that you can visit range from pre-history (the cave paintings at Les Grottes d’Arcy-sur-Cure) through the Roman era (the great new museum at Alésia, wher...
