About the neighbourhood
The nearest village is called Kampung Kumpulan which is 5+ minutes walk from DIKAKI. Here you can get a glimpse of the day-to-day local activities including a stroll across rice paddy fields and scenic walk between rubber plantation. Breakfast of choice is at at 'warung' of roti canai & dhal. It opens at 8.30 am every morning except on Fridays. For lunch and afternoon tea spread, you can't miss the convenient stall at the nearby bus stop, called 'Kedai Kak Ros'. Her beehoon, fruit rojak, fried chicken & assorted mixed rice never disappoints. It's 100 percent home cook with love <3 Other than Kg Kumpulan, other attractions would be the Ayer Hangat Town that organised the most popular night market; Langkawi Craft Complex; Pasir Hitam Beach
Getting around
If you are a first time traveler to Langkawi, we recommend you to rent a car or a scooter if you wish to travel around the island conveniently as there is no public transport here in the island. Upon request, we would be happy to recommend you a rental during your stay.
