Lovely, well appointed and convenient, but be aware that the bedroom is not fully enclosed. It does not have visual or sound privacy in case you need it.

About the neighbourhood
Solano Avenue is home to many restaurants and shops. Stroll around to find what appeals to you. Starbuck’s or Peet’s coffee? Andronico’s or Safeway markets? Your choice. There are bus lines that can take you anywhere you’d like to go. And North Berkeley BART can get you into San Francisco easily. There is easy access to the Freeway if you’d like to take an adventure to the Wine Country as well. Continue up to Solano and through the tunnel for access to downtown Berkeley. You will pass the well-know Chez Panisse along the way (just 10 minutes away) . UC Berkeley and Telegraph Avenue are also a must see (again just 10 minutes away).
Getting around
The best way to get around the Bay Area is by car. There is so much to see in the smaller neighborhoods. Driving to San Francisco is easy, too. The newly constructed Bay Bridge is a drive in itself not to mention our Golden Gate Bridge! Or take the San Rafael bridge on your way to the wine country via Marin County. BART, our subway system, will get you to the main areas of SF. From there you can take city buses or cabs.
