The cottage is on a hill side overlooking the harb...
The cottage is on a hill side overlooking the harbour and the views from the small deck are beautiful at anytime.the drive up to the cottage is extremely steep and narrow and the turning point at the top is limited. Inside the cottage is spacious and light, but some areas need an update, especially the kitchen.
The weather was good and we enjoyed our time there.

Top Aussicht vom Haus. Eine wundervolle Umbegung mit tollen Wanderungen im Assynt.
Das Haus sollte dringend komplett saniert werden. Es funktioniert nicht alles und die Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig. Wir haben es so verlassen wie wir es vorgefunden haben. Schade für den Preis.

Great view although the harbour can be a little no...
Great view although the harbour can be a little noisy. Property is a little run down but you adjust and it felt comfortable at the end of our stay. Road up to house is very steep and tricky if your car is large or has poor ground clearance, but there is a space by the roadside. Walkable to restaurants in lochinver, just, and mostly lit with a pavement. Small shops in Lochinver were better than I expected.

Wir waren 4 Tage hier und haben uns in dem Haus sehr wohlgefühlt.
Die Einrichtung ist zum Teil etwas betagt, was uns aber nicht störte.
Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war freundlich, erfolgte ausschließlich über Email, auf Fragen antwortete er schnell.

Trotz der Tatsache , dass die Einrichtung etwas in die Jahre gekommen und die Böden erneuert werden müssten, hatten wir wunderschöne Tage in diesem Haus. Noch nie hatten wir so eine grandiose Aussicht in einem Ferienhaus. Die Betten waren sehr bequem ! Ein Metzger und ein kleiner Supermarkt sind fußläufig zu erreichen! Die Umgebung zählt zu den schönsten Schottlands!

Relaxing surroundings and wonderful view at Inverallan
We throughly enjoyed our stay. The property was spacious and well equipped, and the bed very comfy but the most appealing aspect was the wonderful view across the bay to Suilven which was spectacular.

Inverallan review
The property was well suited to our needs. However, outside maintenance could have been better; some weed removal around the house would improve the look. Also the driveway could have used some updating.

In die Jahre gekommen
Die Unterkunft liegt sehr schön in der Bucht von Lochinver. Zu Fuß kommt man gut in den Ort und kann auch schöne Wanderungen vom Haus aus starten.
Das Bett ist neu und bequem.
Der Rest der Einrichtung ist schon ziemlich abgewohnt. Überall Flecken an Tapeten, Türen und auf dem Boden. Schimmel im Bad.
In der Küche ist so viel Geschirr, Besteck und Töpfe vorhanden, dass es wohl schwer fällt, dies sauber zu halten. Bei Ankunft starker Geruch nach scharfen Reinigungsmitteln, gemischt mit muffiger Luft.
Für den Preis nicht ansprechend. Wir sind eine Nacht früher auf unsere Kosten abgereist.
