My home is directly beside the cottage, I respect your space, leaving you alone to enjoy the peace but also loan travelers know that they are not totally alone on this safe quiet rural hillside, often we share a walk or a coffee but mostly it's your time to do as you choose. Broadband internet at the cottage creates an ideal work from home space with a difference for those seeking a change of scene. Long stay winter season guests have enjoyed this cottage for writing, music, research, painting and photography at a reduced price. The name 'Druid cottage' comes from the town land name Glendree meaning glen of the druids or glen of magic. If you intend to explore the outdoors it is best to bring gear for the Irish weather pattern which can contain 'all seasons in the one day'! Tourist License / Licencia de turismo N °: 5611146FMore

About the neighbourhood
A peaceful and beautiful area with a neighborhood of friendly artistic and farming people, seasonal organic farm produce is available and we also have a small small Micro brewery nearby. The curvy small fields are divided by small single lane winding roads and walking trails. The lakes, megalithic sites, pubs, traditional music, supermarket, churches, schools, health food shop, chemist, library, butcher with local meat are 8km. Just across the road from the cottage we have a small honesty shop selling seasonal organic veg and genuine free range eggs. The Feakle village pub 'Peppers' has a restaurant with a refreshing pale ale beer which is handcrafted within a 5 min walk from the cottage in the new micro brewery with friendly brewers!
