We had a wonderful weekend in this amazing farmhouse . Everything was perfect from the house to the views , the local amenities restaurants and places to go . I would definitely recommend to friends .

Font Saint Martin is set atop a hill, surrounded by fields, and what hits you first (after the jaw-dropping views), is the absolute peace and quiet. The house is extremely spacious, and highlights include the huge lounge with log-burner (and an ample supply of logs), and the fabulous master bedroom and en suite, complete with its own balcony. This villa is set in the countryside not too far from Carcassone. It has the most stunning views and it is very tranquil. The house is very large with beautiful décor and the pool is very easy to relax beside. Highly recommend.

The area surrounding our house is typical French countryside of rolling hills and farmer's fields. Small villages also dot the scenery as well as the larger town of Bram and the medieval town of Mirepoix. In the distance it's possible to see the Pyrenees mountains and these can be reached in one hour from the property, Carcassonne UNESCO World Heritage City is a 30 minute drive away. The Mediterranean coast is one hour from the house. There are a number of lakes for hiking and swimming within 30 minutes drive.
