Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.
If you have submitted a review for a holiday rental property, we may also ask that you provide us with proof of your stay to ensure that your review is attached to the correct rental property.
Holiday rental reviews collected via the VRBO website (formerly Homeaway) and syndicated to the Tripadvisor website are not currently subject to Tripadvisor’s standard moderation processes.

Perfectly peaceful
Ty Cerrig, was perhaps the best holiday cotage we have rented yet. A very high standard throughout, a lovely display of fresh flowers in the living room and a Bara Brith cake on standby next to the kettle, a warm wlecome from our host. A view out across the dunes towards the bay, the most wonderful sunsets and lots to do and see in the surrounding area. The loval shop is well stocked and the inhouse butcher sells high quality meat products at reasonable prices. The log burner made the cooler May evenings warm and cosy, we have already discussed a further holiday at this venue for next year. Highly recommended.

Fantastic Cottage
We stayed for a week in the May bank holiday weekend with 2 kids under 10 and baby. Having stayed in a few cottages before, this one was probably the best so far.The cottage was very clean and tidy. To top it off the owner left a nice homemade cake and flowers for us.
There are many places to visit. There were lots of leaflets in the cottage for days out, places to eat etc. Good beaches include Barmouth, Shell Island, Harlech and Morfa Bychann. Harlech Castle was good and also the steam train at Fairbourne. Ffestiniog Steam railway is supposed to be good but we never had time for that.
Sunset views and on a clear day you can see the blue sea and mountains/hills.
Would definitely recommend it.

Everything you could expect and more
As stated above "everything you could expect and more". The accommodation and facilities were at least as described and surpassed in some instances. The location is superb and the equipment in the cottage is first rate. The spaciousness of the cottage was a very pleasant surprise.
