Located in Barmouth, this stylish and contemporary ground floor apartment with three bedrooms is situated within easy reach of all Barmouth’s amenities. A wide selection of restaurants, pubs, shops, an enormous beach and pretty harbour are all within easy walking distance and a host of outdoor activities and family attractions are available in the surrounding Snowdonia National Park. The location is really very good with essential shopping using the Co-op or Iceland being 5 minutes walk away, the centre of town being at most ten minutes and the harbour is the other side of town and is about 15 minutes away. And most important of all, the beach is just 10 minutes walk if that. Of course it depends how fast you walk but I'm taking a typical rate. The keys for the flat are in a key safe by the front door. We will provide the code about 7 days before you arrive as we regularly change the code. We will also send details of the flat and area using PDF files about 10 days before the start or earlier by request. And of course we will answer any specific questions you might have. It will help us both if you outline any mobility problems or any other specific health issues. For example access to the flat is up some steps which may be challenging for some but my wife managed it without difficulty on crutches. It has also been mentioned that the shower is over the bath which may be a challenge for some. Just ask and we'll advise honestly - we want you to enjoy your stay not be frustrated!

Great flat, great beach

About the neighbourhood
If you're looking at this listing then I'm sure you know that Barmouth is a traditional British seaside town complete with a great sandy beach, safe sea, boat rides, great chip shops and of course donkeys! The wider area is fantastic. You take almost any road and the scenery is breathtaking, the walks are so varied that there is something for everyone in terms of what you see and the type of walk. Waterfalls are all over the place and really when they promoted Wales as the 'Big Country' they were spot on. Even in the rain the views are spectacular and walking can be fun if you have waterproofs. Then there are the castles up and down the coast, the stone age remains, mines and slate quarries.
Getting around
From the flat you can use the local bus, trains from the station just 5 minutes away or walk which is the best way to see the area. Bicycles can be hired locally and there are some lovely rides in the area without needing to use a car at all. So a car is not really an essential in Barmouth.
