Kirkland Farm is a family run Farm owned by Mark & Diane . The Cottage is part of a traditional steading which has been sympathetically converted to accommodate up to six people and is nestled within the farmtyard.
With a fully fitted modern kitchen , a spacious 26ft long lounge and two comfortable bedrooms along with a modern shower room.
the Cottage has all the amenities that you would expect at home .
The Cottage also boasts it's own private garden with barbecue and patio area .
With an abundance of wildlife in the bordering Cumloden Estate Deer park and ancient Oak woodland. Close by is the Wood of Cree RSPB reserve and Otter pool . For those seeking sporting activities we have private fishing on the farm, a golf course and swimming pool within Newton Stewart, and the world class seven staines mountain bike trails only...

We had a wonderful long weekend here at the end of May with our 2 young children. Th cottage was nice and cool considering it was quite hot outside, the kitchen was well stocked and the cottage was clean and had a really nice feel...More

We had a lovely holiday at Penkiln Cottage, which was extemely comfortable and well equipped. We had a warm welcome from Mark, and a goodies basket which included Diane's delicious blackcurrant jam. There was so much to do in the area; lovely walks from the...More

Wonderful location, easy to find using SatNav. Very peaceful yet all amenities close to hand. The cottage was, clean, warm and spacious. So quiet too. A great base for travelling around this lovely area. Mark and Diane were very welcoming and helpful in suggesting places...More
