Quay Cottage sleeps up to 5 people; there is a double bedroom, small single bedroom and bathroom upstairs. Downstairs is a large sitting room with open fireplace, dining area with adjoining kitchen, a twin bedroom and bathroom with shower attachment over the bath. Sliding glass doors from the dining area lead into a private garden with further seating. Two designated parking spaces are situated across the footbridge at Porlock Weir, approximately 75 metres walk. Quay Cottage kitchen is fitted with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge (with freezer compartment), microwave, electric cooker with ceramic hob. Other equipment includes toaster, kettle, a variety of kitchen utensils, cutlery, crockery and glasses. A television, DVD player and CD player is provided. Quay Cottage has central heating and there is also a wood-burning stove in the sitting room; kindling, matches and one basket of logs will be provided. Additional logs can be purchased from the hardware shop in Porlock. Bed linen, duvets, blankets and towels are provided for your convenience, but please bring your own beach towels if you wish to take towels with you on day trips. A small amount of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits are provided to ensure you can have a hot drink as soon as you arrive. There may also be other non-perishable items like a salt, pepper and a few herbs or spices available. Cleaning materials such as washing up liquid, and surface cleaner will be present in the property. One or two toilet rolls will be provided. From the dining area patio doors open onto a courtyard area with outside table and chairs, beyond which is a private walled garden with raised decking and a swinging seat. Designated parking for two cars is available at Porlock Weir, which is a short walk (approximately 75 metres) across the bridge at the harbour and onto Turkey Island. Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement (maximum of 2). A supplementary fee of £15 will be added to your invoice. Please do not allow your dogs on the furniture or upstairs and do not leave them alone in the property at any time. Quay Cottage is strictly non-smoking.More

Fabulous cottage, comfy cosy, very homely. Lovely views even from the bathroom!! Dog friendly enclosed garden and dog friendly beach outside although very pebbly. Bed linen lovely and beds very comfy. Car park space would be tight with two cars but very handy. Ecclectic style...More

Had the loveliest weekend at this cottage. Loved its quirky style and gorgeous garden, as did our dog in particular! We will definitely be back.
