Surrounded by stunning countryside we welcome you to enjoy this special, tucked away smallholding on the North East slopes of the Long Mynd, sharing the farm with rare breed British Lop pigs, Soay sheep, a mix of chickens and pick-your-own veg. Only a few miles from Church Stretton you can watch wild ponies graze on the Long Mynd, soak up the spectacular views from the Shropshire Hills, or just walk the 1/2 mile to our local, much loved pub, with open fires and home-cooked food. We look forward to greeting our guests upon arrival. If however, we have had to pop out then the keys will be left in the door and we'll see you on our return. All linen, towels and soaps are included as well as numerous kitchen supplies. We provide all our guests with tea, coffee, sugar, milk and rock cakes on arrival as well as flowers.

Just spent a couple of nights in Daisy's place at Middle Farm. Truly fab place and I'll be heading back without a doubt. The farm itself is delightful. The location great for walks and sight seeing and there is a pub within easy walking distance....More

The Barn is a 4* Gold Award property that sleeps 6 guests. All families and babies are welcome - it is a pet free cottage. Recently refurbished with new oak flooring, new bathroom and upgraded lamps showing off the beautiful beams in this stunning timber-framed, grade two listed building.

Step through the entrance hall and into the extremely well-equipped kitchen (with electric cooker, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and mini freezer). The comfortable and inviting living room has a 40' flat screen TV and DVD player. The dining area has a beautifully hand-made iron legged table and matching chairs, seating six very comfortably. A high chair and travel cot may easily be provided.

From Shrewsbury By-Pass
Take the A49 south, signed Leominster. Pass through Bayston Hill and on towards Dorrington. In Dorrington take the first right, signed Picklescott. Continue for 3 miles to Picklescott where the roads bends sharply to the right into the village. In the centre of the village there is a staggered crossroads, turn left here, signposted Betchcott.

Middle Farm is just over 1/2 mile from the crossroads on the left hand side of the road.

From the South
Travelling along the A49 towards Shrewsbury, turn left in Dorrington and follow as above OR turn left into Church Stretton and the traffic lights.
