About the neighbourhood
The historic village of Blakeney was once a busy fishing port, but now Blakeney's quay is more popular with visitors and recreational sailors. The National Trust owns much of the coastal land giving excellent opportunities for walking and exploring. The NT estate also hosts a bird reserve as well as a seal colony. Regular boat trips leave from Blakeney and nearby Morston to visit the seals at Blakeney Point.
